John Babler, Ph.D., Assist. Prof. Social Work & Ministry Based Evangelism, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Ft. Worth, TX.:

"God has given Sid Galloway a passion to study God's Word, a compassion for people, a burden for families, and an ability to teach people how  to implement the Bible's instructions for families.  I highly recommend his seminars both for their Scriptural accuracy and their practicality."

David Powlison, Ph.D., Editor of The Journal of Biblical Counseling, adjunct professor at Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia, author of numerous books and articles including, Power Encounters: Reclaiming Spiritual Warfare.

"Sid Galloway believes that the Scriptures are sufficient for counseling because the grace, truth, and power of the Lord of the Scriptures are abundantly sufficient to "cure souls." Sid's confidence is not simply a flag-waving confession of faith, taking a stand in the face of the facts. He knows the facts: the darkness of the human heart, the real-time sin and misery of real people living real life, the emptiness and shallowness of the answers our world proposes as solutions to life's problems, the practicalities of ministry that helps people change. His confidence in Christ  and in the effectiveness of the ministry of the Word is a tested, tried, and found worthy sort of confidence."

Dr. Wayne Mack, Chairman of the graduate and undergraduate biblical counseling department at The Master's College, and pastor of Joint Heirs Fellowship Group at Grace Community Church (Dr. John MacArthur, senior pastor):

"I have known Sid Galloway for several years.  During this time, I have come to respect Sid for his gentle and yet firm commitment to the sufficiency of Christ and His Word in ministry to God's people.  On the numerous occasions when I have heard Sid teach on important Christian life and counseling issues I have been greatly blessed and helped.  I encourage anyone who can, to avail themselves of the opportunity to sit under the teaching of this godly and gifted servant of Christ."

Ed Bulkley, Ph.D., President- International Association of Biblical Counselors, Pastor L.I.F.E. Fellowship, Denver, CO., author of, Only God Can Heal The Wounded Heart, and radio host of Return To The Word:

"It has been my privilege to become acquainted with Sid Galloway in recent years through our mutual interest in Biblical counseling.  I have been impressed with his gentle spirit, his personal integrity, his depth of wisdom, and his absolute commitment to the sufficiency of the Word of God.  I heartily recommend his seminars on family living.  There aren't many out there who will point you again and again to the Scriptures to find answers for the problems of living.  Sid will!  I'm proud to call him a friend and fellow-laborer in Christ's Kingdom!"

Pastor T. L. from Barbados, West Indies:

Dear Sid and Family,
I am very grateful to God for you and the tremendous work and insight you have given to the building up of our Lord's Kingdom.  Your website has been a source of inspiration to me and our congregation and I have used your study on Spiritual Warfare in our study sessions at church. I wish you continued success and pray that your ministry will grow and be a constant blessing to the entire world.
Yours in our Master's service,

A brother seeking help with his marriage:

Dear Sir:
I have devoured your website. It has helped me begin to rebuild my life after my wife left me. Would it be possible to correspond with you?  I look forward to your reply.

A counselee in a city near us:

It was a pleasure to meet you both and also a great relief to hear what you had to say about [my daughter]. It is so easy to be caught up and influenced by the doctrines of the world and to believe the lies that run through our minds.  [My daughter] told me on the ride home," I'm so happy". I have not heard her say that for a while. My nick name for [my daughter] when she was younger was "Laughing Eyes". Thank you for letting God use you to restore that to her.  We are truly blessed to have you right in our own back yard!

An internet student and inquirer:

"Dear Brother Galloway,    Thank you so very much for your letter. It is so packed with information. You have, by FAR, been the most helpful and thoroughly informative of those I have emailed.  You make me want to move to Louisiana.  God Bless you for your servanthood and your obedience to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so glad to have met you, even if not personally. I feel as though I have family now in the South.
You would be amazed at how much your one letter has said to me. You are a true blessing and your letter was absolutely sent from God. Many of my questions are now answered. Including the one I had about whether I should continue at the local community college to obtain a [degree in psychology]. The answer is no.  There is no reason to fill myself with that type of information which will ultimately confuse and possibly misdirect my focus. Wow! This is so totally awesome. The concerns (confusion) raised within me during my current Abnormal Psychology class are now clear. I can separate what is Biblical and what is not. I will complete the course I started, but no more secular psychology for me. Thank you, thank you."

John Kwasny, M.A., Director Christian Educ. & Family Life - Plains Presbyterian Church:

"Sid presents the best biblical family discipleship seminars we have ever had at our church.  His marriage and parenting seminars were solidly biblical and practical, and were well received by all who attended. ....I recommend his conferences highly to any church or group."

Steve Harden, M.Div., Pastor Southside Baptist Church, Ponca City, OK.

"It is with great enthusiasm that I recommend Sid Galloway to anyone who needs a seminar leader.  During our Biblical Counseling Conference, Sid did a great job in declaring the timeless truths of Scripture in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.  His presentations were insightful and well prepared.  His commitment to the sufficiency of God's Word in any circumstance was obvious.  I am confident that any topic Sid would present would be interesting and presented competently.  I count it a joy to consider Sid a friend and co-laborer in the cause of Christ."

A pastor in Australia:

"Dear Sid,    Many thanks for your help. I'm thankful to God for your ministry. "

A counseling ministry director at a church in Canada:

"I head the counseling ministry of our church. I have come across your web site here and am just thrilled that you offer so much on here that I know will be of use to us."

A Web visitor from Buenos Aires, Argentina:

My name is _______, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, South America.  I've been browsing your site and it is wonderful !!  We need a counselor site [like yours], because I personally need to have resources in discipleship and counseling.

A Pastor in Connecticut:

Love your site! I'm a Dad & Hubby of one brilliant and beautiful wife and two kids....  I also pastor a church of about 200. Would love to find out about any video training programs you offer for training counselors in my  congregation. What do you have via video and/or Internet and how much does it cost?  Thanks

Associate Pastor at a church in Arkansas:

"Dear Bro. Galloway,    . . . This is great stuff. Thanks so much. The courtship series has really burdened me. I was never taught this when I was growing up. I didn't know it existed.  Thank you again for all of your insight, and faithfulness to truth. When are you going to finish? Will it be out in a workbook form? I would like to adapt it for my youth, but I don't want to break any copyright regulations.
Thanks again for the insight, and your faithfulness to truth.

A counselor in Washington:

"Good evening. I am enjoying this site. I am a counselor and I am interested in continuing education and specifically Biblical Counseling. I live in a rural area in Eastern Washington and would need to study over the internet or through the mail. Do you have any suggestions for where I should begin my search?"

The Pastors of Temple Baptist Church - Kenosha, Wisconsin:

"It was a real pleasure to have you here. My greatest regret is not getting enough time with you, but I am glad that many others were able to spend time with you. We have heard nothing but good words regarding your ministry here and we hope to have you up again next year." (M.H.)

"The words are difficult to find that express my gratitude to you and our God who allowed you to bless us in such a mighty way. The Holy Spirit is continuing that which was started when you came to us. Thank you so much for sharing yourself with us.
My prayer is that as God continues to use you in this mighty way, that you will continue to be blessed with humility. May God richly bless your family for sharing you with us. Please let them know that we understand that their sacrifice is greatly appreciated."

Steve Barrett, M.Div., Pastor, Church-planter, Fairbault, Minnesota.

"I had the privilege to experience Sid's teachings on various subjects for a period of over 3 years. His presentations are above all based solely on  what the Bible teaches on the specific subject being presented.  He  challenges those who participate in his classes to examine the entire Bible for applications.  Sid provides an environment for learning that is not only informative but enjoyable as well.  I highly recommend Sid and Linda Galloway to you if you desire to have a seminar that is Biblically based, informative, and applicable to the  problems we all face in today's society."

* Teachers, I hope the following words of encouragement to me will also encourage you that your "ministry" is worth far more than you get in your paycheck

Thirty years ago, my own biology teacher told me that I ought to consider teaching biology.  Instead, I pursued careers in zookeeping, counseling, seminar speaking - finally teaching.  Teachers, never underestimate the impact you can have on a student - even long term!  By the way, my biology teacher still teaches biology (upgraded) - now in a medical school.

I enjoyed catching up on what you have been doing for the last 30 years.  I know you find it hard to believe but I remember you well as a bright and inquisitive student.  Obviously, I am quite proud of you.  My family will keep your family, especially your son, in our thoughts and prayers.  Your web-site and organization of your classes is quite impressive.  I could learn a lot from you.  The semester I taught at [ _______ High School] was a highlight of my life.  I enjoyed it so much that I almost did not enter medical school that fall and considered remaining as a teacher.
Please keep me posted on your son’s surgery and progress.

An author working on a textbook teacher's manual:

I stumbled on your website this morning.  I am part of a team that is writing the biblical worldview to accompany a secular textbook.  Thanks for the plant help.  May I use your website as a reference for enrichment to share in the teacher's manual? I will be careful to give you credit. I live in Texas, but I grew up in Louisiana. I am so thankful for such truth to be beaming from way down south.
Blessings to you and your precious family.

A couple teaching science and Scripture to the youth in their church:

Hi!  I just found your website, and I LOVE it!  [We] are currently teaching the AiG curriculum, "It All Begins With Genesis" to our church’s . . . boys’ class, and I wish I had found your site sooner for supplemental material. . . ."

A teacher in North Carolina:

Thank You.  I teach at _________ in Asheboro, NC.  I again, really appreciate your site.  I would like to make a webpage like yours one of these days.  ((Somehow I should work that into my curriculum and get the students to start it...))  We will be praying for you all too.  Those storms were horrible this year.

A California college student studying science from a secular slant:

"Dear Mr. Galloway,
I am currently attending a Cal. State University (a very liberal school).  I am in school to get my teaching credential . . . .  I love teaching and want to continue.  I am taking Biology this semester.  As you might suspect, every class is focused on evolution.
In fact, the teacher is so preoccupied with evolution that she is seriously missing the opportunity to inspire her students to be intrigued by science.  I, however, am daily amazed at the wonders of God's creation.  Thank you for your wonderful website for Biology 10th.  I was searching for a resource with bio/Christian influence to support -or not - what I've been learning.  . . . . Teachers don't mind critical opinions as long as a student agrees with him.  . . .  I'm seeing BIO from both angles and am more convinced than ever that God is awesome.
Thanks, I hope your students appreciate you."

A parent of one of my students:

Mr. Galloway,
I just wanted to express my gratitude for your website.  It has helped ______ so much over the last 6 months with all your notes for class.  But most of all, it is such a blessing every time we visit the site because all the info reminds us just how awesome our mighty God is and how his power rules our lives.  Thank you and your family for all your efforts into Northlake and your www.soulcare.org ministry.
In Christ,

A student in one of my classes:

Dear Mr. Galloway,
I want to thank you for taking the time to teach at out school. I understand that the pay isn't that much, and that the teachers work at Northlake Christian because they feel led to. You are a blessing to me, . . . due to you teaching us all of our "promotion hints" [to show respect by saying, Yes, sir] I have certainly learned a lot from you, and I know that when I get my very first [job] promotion that the extra "mula" will go to the dark chocolates to you!! All I wanted to do is tell you thank you, I appreciate you, and I hope to live a strong Christian life just like you! Thank You.  Your student.

My former high school biology teacher, now a Medical School professor in Texas:
(Teachers, 30 years ago, he told me I should be a biology teacher.  His words stayed in my heart.)

The semester I taught at Captain Shreve was a highlight of my life. I enjoyed it so much that I almost did not enter medical school that fall and considered remaining as a teacher.
Please keep me posted on your son’s surgery and progress.

A Science Teacher in SC:

Mr. Galloway,
I've really enjoyed looking through your science web page.  I teach . . . science in SC and have recently begun to use PowerPoint on the big screen.  . . . .  I'd like permission to use your material in my classroom.  I'd also like permission to modify.  The changes I would like permission to make are in formatting - changing colors and font sizes to make it easier for our classroom, and to delete some slides for brevity's sake.  I will not put words in your mouth or twist what you say. . . . Use of your material would help immensely.
Thanks

A Science Student in VA:

Mr. Galloway,
Hi I found your website through Google, I am working a college essay for my biology class and the topic I have chosen is inbreeding...I don’t really know that much about it, just that it's been done with such that as tigers, lions, horses, zebras, ext. . . . . I want to find out as much as possible to understand it.  . . . . I am really happy to have found a website also that is bible based.
Thanks for your time,

A Science Teacher in Los Angeles:

Hi,
Sorry to bother you, but I'm an overwhelmed, generally clueless first year bio teacher and just came across your wonderful website while looking for ideas about teaching DNA replication.  I had a couple of quick questions and thought I'd take a second to pose them in an email. If you don't have the time for or interest in understanding them, I completely understand...but if you have a moment - thanks in advance! . . . .
Take care,

A Science Teacher:

Mr. Galloway,
I teach life science too in Nevada.  I want you to know how much I enjoy your web site for your class. I wish I could teach using the Bible as a teaching standard as you can.  . . . .

Anyway, I wanted to tell you thank you for your site.

A Web visitor:

"I just was cleaning out some saved e-mail and really got a chance to comb through your website.  I must say, your site is one of the best Christian sites I've seen on the web.   You truly have a gift not only for recognizing the principles outlined in the scriptures, but also for communicating those principles effectively."

A Student's Parent:

Dear Mr. Galloway,
I just wanted to thank you for Fridays' science class. It has been years since [our son] came home from school and told us how much fun a class was.  He was very excited. He often repeats things that he has learned in your class. We are very grateful that [our son] has been blessed with you.
Thank You,

The following is a copy of an encouraging note we received which graphically illustrates why Biblical counseling is so needed today. In all humility, we know that all glory for any good goes to our Father, not us. His Word is inerrant and sufficient for the counseling needs of the soul. Keep praying for us when you can. We need it!

"Dear Mr. Galloway,      I wanted to tell you that I'm truly encouraged by your ministry. It's a relief to finally find someone who wants to approach life and everything that it entails with biblical truth. I wish I could have found out about this 8 years ago. I currently am, and have struggled with "clinical depression" for the last 8 years. During five of these years I have seen a Christian counselor who is only a Christian that happens to have a Ph.D. in Psychology. He received all of his education from secular schools. I have been to 4 different psychiatrists and been on 8 different medications. None have helped me.
I'm confused right now because these doctors have sold me on the thought that I have a chemical imbalance, but can't provide physical evidence, i.e. a brain scan. I've also been bombarded with secular humanistic psychological babble that all of my problems are related to my parents. I don't discount that there was pain involved in my childhood, but my counselor never even mentioned forgiveness. The scary thing is that all of these people are Christians, and they aren't teaching the truth. I've literally paid these people thousands of dollars to help me, but I still feel stuck in a rut. I'm thoroughly frustrated right now because I've known for the past few years that I've needed biblical counseling, but nobody could help me find it.
Not to sound corny, but tonight I prayed to God to help me find someone who could counsel me with truth, and I felt led to get information off the internet. Your sight was the first one that caught my eye. After reading about your church, ministry, and Christian views; through my own discernment, I can tell that you are sincere and on track with what God is doing through you. Through your related issue links I was able to find a few names of counselors in my area. I plan on making a call this week to set up an appointment. I hope and pray that this is a start to recovery for me.
Once again, thank you for your ministry. I encourage you to keep working to advance God's kingdom. My prayers are with you that your ministry would reach more people and that the words "biblical counseling" wouldn't sound so radical in the Christian world.
