ISAIAH 11:1-9
"There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse . . . .
The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him [Christ],
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might,
the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD.
. . . . with righteousness He shall judge the poor,
and decide with equality for the meek of the earth.
. . . . The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
the calf and the young lion . . . together;
and a little child shall lead them.
. . . . And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
. . . . They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My Holy mountain,
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea."

Many
people have asked me to write down my old zoo stories and experiences from
my zookeeper-animal behaviorist (ethologist)
days, especially the stories that I've shared during seminars, along with the
biblical principles that God's creatures so graphically illustrate. (Family life,
marriage commitment, communication, conflict resolution, parenting . . .
.)

Remember, competition and
survival of the cruelest was not God's original design,
and my experiences with animals support this wonderful biblical truth.
- Our Creator is a good
God, who gave angels and Adam a choice
- Selfish sin has corrupted His Creation, not God
- Soon, the LORD of Love will judge
according to His law of love (John 13:34-35)
A Beginning List
of Examples . . .
(From God's tame Eden
to sin's wild kingdom to a tame Millennial Kingdom of God's Love)
Proverbs 12:10 says that a
wise and righteous man cares for his animals, but even the supposedly tender
mercies of a wicked man are cruel. So, please don't forget. God
made the animals, different from plants. Plants are organic machines,
that do not think or feel. Animals, however were made as "nephesh chaya"
(which literally means, living souls). They are unique from humans, but
as nephesh chaya, they can think and feel, experience joy or suffer.
