Creation Quote of Interest:
Dr Emmett Williams, Creation Research Society Quarterly, 29(2):84,
September 1992.
‘Anyone who questions man’s reasoning, particularly on the origin of the physical world, faces an arrogance almost beyond comprehension. Many scientists realize the weak underpinnings of scientific models but the spokesmen of naturalism and their media advocates will not abide anything that questions either the supremacy of man, his reasoning power or his conclusions. I have seen media interviewers, who gladly try to tear Christian and conservative guests to pieces, grovel before a scientist who is [one of the] illuminati of evolutionary thought. No one would dare to try to question a living example of the superiority of man’s reasoning power. They are in the presence of a high priest of the one and only knowledge — let all the earth keep silent before him!’
Text and Class Notes:
Remember, my PowerPoints and some WORD Documents are very large and take a
lot of space.
I cannot afford to pay for the host storage space to keep all of them online
at the same time.
So, I will only maintain the most recent and immediately needed files.
Also, remember that they take a long time to download, depending on your
connection speed.

Creation vs. Macroevolution (Vertical
Evolution) Unit
In the two weeks prior to the Christmas Break, we
will try and cover the material below. Due to many of you having to leave
town early due to school and family activities, we may have to extend this unit
into the week following Christmas break as well. I encourage you to
examine the PPT presentations and the listen to the audios in order to prepare
for the quizzes and tests. Also, remember that you will have a "Creation
Paper" during the fourth quarter of the year, and if you pay attention and work
well during this unit you will be much better equipped to produce a good paper.

My friend, Dr. Terry Mortenson, has written a great refutation to this recent National Geographic effort to both censor and distort the evidence available to its readers. A few sample quotations, illustrating the full spectrum of evidence too often censored from the average biology student: Dr Werner Gitt, In the Beginning Was Information,
CLV, Bielefeld, Germany, p. 107, 1997. Dr Lee Spetner (Professor of Biophysics at Johns Hopkins
University) and author of, Not By Chance, The Judaica Press, Inc.,
Brooklyn, New York, p.138, 1997. p.159-160 "Not even one mutation has been observed that adds a little information to the genome. That surely shows that there are not the millions upon millions of potential mutations the theory demands. There may well not be any. The failure to observe even one mutation that adds information is more than just a failure to find support for the theory. It is evidence against the theory. We have here a serious challenge to neo-Darwinian theory." Francisco J. Ayala, The Mechanisms of Evolution,
Scientific American, p. 65, Sept. 1978. |
