This is our pet Amphiuma named Owen (spelled with the Irish version Eion). 
He is about 3 feet long, very aggressive, and loves dead minnows. 
Amphiumas are NOT eels, but actually large aquatic salamanders.
Eoin lives in one of our 10 exhibits in the classroom.
