Why is it necessary for me to plan a strategy? (Psa 78)

- Because God commands it. (Eph 5:26; 6:1-20)
- Building your home is as important as your house (Mat 7).
- Spiritual, relational goals must be planned and scheduled   or they usually won't be achieved. (Ezra 7:10)
- Because you, your spouse and children desparately need it    in order to grow into the full character of Christ. (Heb 12)

What should my strategy include? (2 Tim 1-4)

- Plans for personal growth (scheduled daily prayer, worship, Bible reading, memorization,    meditation, and systematic study of God's Word for life). (Joh 13-17)
- Plans to evangelize each of my unsaved family members, individually and personally.
- Plans to disciple each of my family members, individually and personally. (Col 4:6)

How should I do it?

- Prayerfully (1 Thes 5; 1 Jo 5).
- With loving authority (as Head) (1 Sam 2; 1 Cor 11).
- Systematically (1 Cor 14; God is a God of order).
- Diligently (2 Tim 2:14-15).

What kind of time frame should I be working with? (Deu 6; Psa 127)

- Don't wait, start now! And then write your plans down.
- One year plan, setting specific goals to please our Father.
- Five year plan, expanding my goals for God's glory.
- Plan toward sending each child off to plant a new home.
- Plan together with my spouse to serve God for life!
