In order to ensure that you consistently fulfill the Biblical responsibilities God has given to you as a householder, make out a personal schedule which includes at least the following:

Time scheduled for my personal relationship with:

Our Father in Heaven:
- For praise and prayer
- Scripture reading so I will reread the Bible each year
- Scripture memorization & meditation, especially for areas in my life where
I need to change and grow more mature for God's honor
- Topical study to gradually build a systematic theology

My family together:
- Daily devotions, teaching them to praise, pray, and feed on God's Word
- Bedtime, helping them focus on God & His Word as they fall asleep
- Opening my home for hospitality, to model evangelism & discipleship

My wife (if you're a married man):
(If a single man or woman, study your role for later)
- Discipleship time bringing her to Abba Father, teaching her how to
praise, pray, and study Scripture properly. Washing her with the water of the Word (Eph 5:26), gently helping her overcome any areas of spiritual immaturity. (Deu 24:5)

Each of my children:
- Discipleship time bringing each one to Abba Father, teaching & modeling how to
praise, pray, and study Scripture properly. Studying each child's character and training according to whatever personal needs you discern for that little lamb of your flock.

Our local church:
- Time with an elder so you can be discipled according to your unique gifts and needs
- Opportunities to practice your gifts, serving other members
For example, if you are a . . .
* teacher, disciple a younger believer from our fellowship.
* administrator, help with planning for an outreach seminar, or video, etc.
* server, help meet other's physical needs (visit the sick, fix cars, home repairs...)

Our community & the world of unbelievers:
- Set opportunities to personally evangelize unbelievers into God's family
(plan to build a bridge of friendship and prove God's love to that person)
- Plan a group project that showing the community that God's love is true
*example, help fix an elderly person's home or car, etc...
- Give to missions, or even go yourself on mission trips

Other churches and other believers:
- Invite a sister church to work with us in a community outreach
